Questions about official Cook County criminal records belong with the office that created or maintains the record. The contacts below distinguish Circuit Court files, Sheriff custody and booking material, local police reports, and Illinois State Police conviction information so a request reaches the correct custodian.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.
